Ad-blocking Stopped Working on YouTube

In recent weeks/months I noticed more videos that pause while playing ads in the background. Does the blocking code need an update?

I am logged in to my YouTube Account.

@Dancer External ad-blocker extensions are irrelevant to this topic.

I don't get to see ads when uBlock is active, but you're probably talking about the built-in adblocker? Of course on my smart TV I do get to see YT ads since there is no adblocker active on that device.

@Pesala , here the ad pops up only for an second in your video, while the video is loading with the Vivaldi blocker. Updating the filters fixed it.
