Is there a full tab/window mode? Instead of fullscreen?
-
I have two widescreen monitors, with 2 windows on each (using the Windows snap-to feature). I know I could also use the tiling feature in Vivaldi for a similar effect (2 tabs on each monitor) but I'm trying to simplify things
So, 4 panels over two monitors. I want to go full screen and get rid of all the unnecessary clutter at the edges of each panel but full screen mode (obviously) fills the screen instead of just the tab/window
Is there a way around this?

@dabstrades1 Toggle UI (Ctrl+F11) may be helpful for your use case. You could use it in either window/monitor, or both, with tiled tabs.

I think what he means is put Vivaldi in full screen but also display the tab list whether vertically or horizontally ?

@Sparrows This is what my suggestion does — it gets rid of all of the UI clutter (except for the Window Title Bar).

Very good, thank you! I just need to get rid of the Window Title Bar now, haha

Oh, actually, F11 gets rid of the Window Title Bar too!

Yes, but also of the Windows (or Linux) taskbar.
I learned from @Pesala to use Ctrl+F11 today. That is a good alternative to me.

I don't see any difference between CTRL+F11 and F11 they both hide everything.
I would like to be able to see bookmarks or windows panel when in full screen ?

- I don't know about Linux or Mac.
Command Chains can be designed to show the panels or address bar in fullscreen mode.

and of the System-taskbar too.
I checked both variants in Linux and Mint. If you, @Sparrows , don't see a difference between F11 and Ctrl+F11, it might be caused by any of your shortkey-settings.
Ctrl+F11 gives Fullscreen with Window title and taskbar visible here. -
When I do F11 I get the full screen but if I do CTRL+F11 I don't get the windows title bar as mentioned should be shown. I'll have to check my keyboard shortcuts for Vivaldi.

@dabstrades1
You may try the following to still have visible tabs (through the Window panel):
F11 to go fullscreen > F4 to toggle the side panel (easy access to favorites, history, settings, extensions, etc.) and perhaps use the Window panel to manage tabs.
