LastPass Extension crashes Vivaldi

Sometimes when I open vault in LastPass, Vivaldi closes

I can open just about any LastPass page or function, but when I Save my edits or Close the page, Vivaldi is instantly gone. LastPass all still works in Firefox...

I have Exit Confirmation turned on, so I guess Vivaldi is crashing. Starts right back up when I try, but whatever I was doing in LastPass was not saved.

Maybe the Vivaldi update I accepted yesterday???

Same here, open vault, look up some notes, vivaldi is gone

that needs to be solved, asap, otherwise, vivalid is useless for me

I didnt had an account. I had to make one just because I want this to be fixed. apparently it started with the latest update released. Please Vivaldid Devs. Fix this.

Hi, if you can reproduce it in a clean profile one can make a report to the Vivaldi bug tracker.

The last Chromium 110 base code change a lot for security and extensions. Brave and Opera use still Chromium 109, for example.

If anyone wants to repeat this, here's what I did:

C:\Users\loren\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application>vivaldi.exe --user-data-dir="%TEMP%\TESTVIV"

Chose all my required options, installed LastPass...

Navigated all over the "Vault" with no problems - this time...

But:

Click LastPass extension icon
Choose Account
Choose Extension Settings
Choose Advanced

In my profile, as soon as I switched to my text editor to note this, Vivaldi disappeared from the background.

In the "Clean" profile, I changed one setting and clicked Save before Vivaldi crashed.

Hi, I cant confirm the report, I don´t use Lastpass but the report is very good with crash logs.
I guess the Vivaldi team have a LastPass account to test this.

I, too, have the same issue whenever I open the LP vault while using Vivaldi. I open the vault and five seconds later Vivaldi just disappears. I can reopen Vivaldi and browse for as long as I want, but 5 seconds after I open the LP vault POOF!
No issues using Firefox. I am running on Linux Mint 20.3, and have been using LP for years with no issues on Vivaldi, so this is a new problem. Here are the particulars about my Vivaldi:

In the latest snapshot 5.8.2936.3 this problem affects not only LastPass extension, but also many other extensions.
For example, in extension User JavaScript and CSS, when user opens extension's popup window and from it goes to extension's settings, VIVALDI stops its work after a few seconds.

@kichrot I'm finding "Save to Pocket" has a problem - doesn't crash Vivaldi but doesn't do anything when the icon is left clicked. Right click options sometimes crash...

With the password manager "heylogin" it is exactly the same as with Lastpass. When I want to manage my passwords via the addon, Vivaldi quits after a few clicks. Since the problem with Lastpass is supposed to be fixed in version 5.8, I'll wait and see if it also fixes the "heylogin" problem...

Same issue here, once I open lastpass, some seconds, vivaldi is gone. Also happened with me with the site slevomat.cz/.

Same error. Open, couple of seconds, gone.
