Solved What is "browser windows in portal" in experiments?

I stumbled over a setting in
vivaldi:experiments:enable browser windows in portal
What is that feature for? I have not the slightest idea, beside that enabling had make my mail panel disappear.

@Dancer18 Do not blindly enable experiments you don’t know anything about. This experiment can break your profile and maybe it already has. I hope you have a backup.

@luetage I just learned that. It was the first time that enabling it in the experimental settings caused an immediate effect.
However, the profile seems to be largely fine after I disabled that again.

@Dancer18 At first start on Mint 21 with Vivaldi 5.7 Stable and Snapshot i could not find such settings in Vivaldi Experiments, but after restart it was visible. That was the reason why i asked you.
