Start screen has bing search:::: how do i change this

My start screen has a BING search box... WHY?
And how do i change it to another engine?

@FredBobo See Settings, Search.
Change your default search or remove the search field from the Start Page and use the Search Field on the Address Bar instead. This can be reduced to a button to save space.

Changing the default search engine has no affect on the search bar on the start page.
Is this related to not being able to change the image search to other than bing and chrome?

@FredBobo There is a magnifying glass icon to change it. The default is Bing, but you can change it from the drop list.

@FredBobo You click on the Bing icon to change it to another search engine. The magnifying glass icon is for the search field in the address bar.
The specific setting if you want to disable the search box on the start page all together is:
vivaldi://settings/search/→Show Search Field on Speed Dial

Not related.
And if you are able to find the right settings to add another image search provider, you can change it to that. So far I only know of the settings for TinEye and Google Lens. You can also probably add Yandex, but I couldn't find the settings.
There just aren't too many reverse image search engines.

An update changed the settings for image search.
But, i could not change the search on the start page. I removed the search box.

@FredBobo As I explained above, you can change the Search Engine on the Start Page itself. Whichever you choose will remain as the default until you change it again.
