Cooperation between 'Jabber/XMPP' and 'Matrix', two open source messengers

Yesterday in the Jabber/XMPP Matrix space:
xmpp:[email protected]?joina cooperation between Jabber/XMPP and Matrix was tinkered with.
Several Jabber/XMPP rooms are now in Matrix.
A direct connection between a Jabber/XMPP- and a Matrix room is not yet possible.
But this is surely to come. -
Is anyone here interested in an improved cooperation between the free, open source messengers 'Matrix' and 'Jabber/XMPP'?
There are well working 'Bifröst' bridges.
The rooms can also be coupled.
