        @Nebu I cannot reproduce the issue.

        Is it an exceptionally long page? Even on this very long page, I don't see any significant lag when zooming.

        Please see Trouble-shooting issues.

            @Nebu Yes, i confirm.
            Zoom with Ctrl+Wheel is very lagging on Vivaldi, works better on Chromium 109 😞

              @DoctorG I get about the same result in all browsers I test with, Chrome, Chromium, Vivaldi, Opera all lag when zooming. Firefox is a little better but still lags.

              I suspect this is what the user discovered, did not test in other browsers.

                    I don't understand what the fuss is about.

                    Rendering in Vivaldi is no worse than Firefox. The screen takes a second or less to rewrite after zooming one step.

                    What do people expect on such long pages?

                      @pesala Faster zoom of page by pushing up mouse wheel with finger (=zoom more than one step) is slower on Vivaldi, works better in Chromium.
                      Zooming like this looks like a gamer's attitude than of a average user.
                      And yes, Firefox is a slower one, with Vivaldi.
                      Vivaldi acts slower on mouse interaction than other browsers. But not so slow that i can not live with a delay.

                        Why would a person have to zoom in a second time on a page they use regularly, I wonder?

                          @barbudo2005 I think it was the lag what user experienced on the wiki and they thought Vivaldi could be the culprit. But do not ask me, was my guess.

                            @DoctorG

                            Apparently I did not express myself well.

                            If I regularly visit Wikipedia and my eyes need a 130% zoom to read easily, and Vivaldi remembers that level, why do I have to be zooming?

                              @barbudo2005 You do not have to if Vivaldi Settings for tab zoom are correct.
                              I do not know why Nebu needs to zoom the Wikipedia pages. Wait until they answerd your question 😉
