Can't install extensions in Vivaldi 5.6
-
I don't know what happened but all of a sudden I get this error when installing extensions from the Chrome Web Store. For example, I tried to install OneTab and Ghostery. Anybody know what the heck is going on?
I get this error:
An error has occurred
Could not install package: 'FAILED_TO_COPY_EXTENSION_FILE_TO_TEMP_DIRECTORY' -

I thought about this, but it wasn't the case and it would have been weird.

Thanks, I see that DuckDuckGo had better search results than Google in this case. The YouTube video about simply deleting files in the temp folder solved it. I never had this problem before in 20 years of web browsing, weird. Perhaps it was caused because recently I enabled Developer Mode to be able to install some extension from outside the Chrome Web Store, who knows.

Never saw that Error.
Here the Profiles has some sideload extensions but not installed new Extensions since long.I'll see whether happens in the future.
