I can second this, it only happens with snapping. turning on native window also gets rid of the white border while keeping the snapping functionality but of course adds the second bar on top. only popped up after the latest update for me as well. hope there's a fix soon, it's really distracting!

Hi, I cant find a bug report in the internal bug tracker.
One have to report it to the tracker, if I find some time I can confirm it, if I can reproduce it.For information on how to report a bug, see this URL: https://vvld.in/how-to-report-bugs
Once that is done, please share the bug number(beginning with VB-). Thanks.
On the form, you can add your email address. Once submitted, you'll get a confirmation. You can reply to this with any logs or further info.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin it's a pretty simple error to replicate so I hope that the report had enough information, here's the bug number: VB-94525

@decademic
Yeah, looks good.
I try to reproduce it when I use Windows the next time, then I can confirm it.Cheers, mib

@decademic
Hm, it is not so easy to reproduce, running Vivaldi 5.6.2867.58 on Windows 10 but on a virtual machine:On my main Windows 11 system the border drawing is different, Vivaldi can use Windows accent colors for example.
There are many Windows 10 testers so I hope one can confirm.Cheers, mib

@decademic
Hi, your report is marked as solved by duplicate of VB-94513, unconfirmed.
There are two other reports about the white border issue.Cheers, mib
-
@mib2berlin Are either of those two other reports not involving snap? Because since 5.7 (using Win11, not sure about other OS's), any dark site shows the white border automatically (I don't use the snap feature at all). It did not happen in 5.6 or before.

@rseiler Yes, it is more visible with a dark Vivaldi theme, but the gray border exists on Windows 11 Light Mode, too.
Was already reported, i can not find it.
