merging two separate browser windows
-
Somehow, while switching between tabs, some of my tabs migrated into a new Vivaldi browser window. I don't know how that happened but I want to return all those tabs to the original browser window. Is there a simple way to merge the two windows?

Select all tabs shown in new window and then:
- right click on tabs
- select Move ℕ Tabs ▸ (where ℕ is the number of tabs selected) and in secondary menu select Window with ℕ Active Tabs
FYI: to select multiple tabs select first tab then whist pressing
Shift
key select last tab. -
Remember to close the empty (well, it should have one tab showing your start page) window, so you don't accidentally end up with only that window when you close the other one. Seen too many reports of people closing their main window and forgetting another was open, easy way to lose all your tabs.

@yojimbo274064400 Thank you so much Yojimbo. Your answer was very clear and especially noting how to "choose" all tabs was necessary info for me. It worked perfectly! Many times people give advice assuming the questioner knows how to do all the steps given, and then I cannot follow the instructions.

The snapshot 5.7 versions have all windows available in the windows panel (the stable 5.6 still has only the current window). In the windows panel it is super easy to drag and drop any number of tabs from one window to another
