MacOs 13.1, Mail Notification sounds not playing

I recently switched to Vivaldi and today made the move to Mail (from Outlook).

The only disappointment for me is that Vivaldi doesn't seem to play a notification sound for new email, even when the setting is enabled.

In the notification I can click on Settings which redirects me to a Vivaldi Config screen where I can enable sound for specific URIs. The default behaviour for sites seems to be "Ask" rather than "Allow". Do I've to add a URI to enable Mail notifications sounds to be played?

@aroos It doesn't work anymore in the Windows version either. Hasn't since about 5.4.

Hi, I add a comment on VB-82812 from 2021, this is may a regression.
Please add your Vivaldi and OS version like aroos does in the title but no Vivaldi version.
As it not work in 5.7 either I guessed you are on latest stable 5.6.

@mib2berlin, it may be a regression for some but an unlucky few of us perceive it as a feature that has never worked.

For me (currently 2867.50 Standalone on Win10-64 with Intel/Realtek_HD audio) it goes hand-in-hand with clock alarms being (unhelpfully) silent:

Hi, it was working for me for a long time but I am on Windows 11 since first insider build two years ago, cant remember Windows 10.
As it happen on all platforms I ask in the developer chat to reopen the bug report but we are on holidays now, please ask in a few days again.
We can decide of reporting it again then.

Hi, the master bug is VB-86024, I updated it to the latest Vivaldi 6.2, 6.3.
The report is confirmed, no process.

This is a long term bug in Vivaldi and it is reported and confirmed in the Vivaldi bug tracker.
There is nothing to do for a user, only wait for the developer find time to fix this, I fear.

@fred8615 FWIW, I just got a new computer a few days ago and the sound notification works now. It still wasn't even with 6.2 on my old computer.
