[UI] Copy button in vivaldi://about broken (VB-92232)
Very useful and important fix!
Yes. -
@Ruarí , Ha! first
-
nope...it make issue on maximized windows.
there is cutoff on left, right, bottom side when maximized (there is probably cut off on top side also, not sure cause i remember there is issue with it from previous update, less than 100% ui scale stuff?). also kinda break auto-hide taskbar. i cant hover to show taskbar anymore, gotta press super key now to bring it up.on windows 7 btw

@Ruarí How are you doing tests? I mean the tests for UI things? Does anybody physically have a look on browser of the thing which should be fixed? In VM? On real machine? 'Sopranos'? Or nobody looks on it after?
-
@pathduck: Now the only improvement needed there is a separate line mentioning the Chromium version (which I realize hasn't changed in this build update, but it's a nice reference to have given the pace at which Google increments it).

I too am having issues with UI zoom, perhaps they are related.
VB-93487For some reason Vivaldi dev team have added a calculation variable to scale the zooming of some elements, that breaks uniform zooming.
#browser.win button.vivaldi, #browser.linux button.vivaldi { scale: calc(1 / var(--uiZoomLevel)); } #browser .window-buttongroup { scale: calc(1 / var(--uiZoomLevel)); }
I resolved my issue by unsetting their value

What happened to the trash can icon for retrieval of recently closed tabs? I occasionally use this feature and miss its' absence.

Honestly, I don't care much whatever version Chromium is on. I'm on the latest Vivaldi version, that's good enough for me

@Pathduck
Thanks for the quick response. I looked and I do have the trash can tab checked to be active. So I wonder why it isn't showing. -
@TokieMoon Please see Trouble-shooting issues.

My mistake! I was looking in the wrong area. LOL I do have it. Again, thank you.

@enc0re: automated tests. Something like 40,000 of them

Must be update season
On macOS can Vivaldi be set to not steal focus every few seconds when it is starting? -
seems that method of testing is unable to catch visual flaws, like the new windows border cutoff bug mentioned above by @LimauHijau.
