Bibliographical service
-
I use Zotero as a bibliographical service.
(Manjaro KDE, x86 and pinetab ARM, MS WOS x86 and Android phone ARM)
But its synchronization is not as good as I would like it to be.I think that an integrated Vivaldi bibliographical service, that would sync just collection of bib (txt) files, letting you sync the pdfs and other files as torrents or other p2p system from your other computers, or from their URLs (stored on the bib files) would boost the use of Vivaldi between college students and professors.
Adding some features as "send bib file to" linked to the communication center (or e-mail) would be great too.
And I think most of the code is already written, and FOSS. (Not only Zotero is FOSS, there are other bibliographical FOSS projects)
You just have to connect one and or collect parts and integrate a good sync method, not necessarily the one I suggested. -
@mitcoes Interesting idea.
Sending files to others in LAN would be a nice feature. But i am not aware that a P2P transfer is planned. -
I finished
"... integrate a good sync method, not necessarily the one I suggested."
And LAN or LAN/WAN would be great too.
