Gibiru search not working

There was a post about this issue in October suggesting disabling an adblocker (I use uBlock Origin) on the Gibiru site to prevent a blank search result from being returned. I only started having blank results returned with the last couple of builds of Vivaldi and disabling uBlock does not help. Neither does going to www.gibiru.com in a guest window work. At the same time I was getting blank results in Vivaldi I attempted a Gibiru search using Brave and it worked fine. Sometimes the search works but even more often it doesn't.

Hi, I get a blank page with enabled Vivaldi add blocker, without:
I use only the Vivaldi forum mod extension.
If it work in a guest profile it is 99% an extension, it can be anyone, even nobody can imagine it can influence such an issue.
Candidates are cookie blocker, VPN extensions.Cheers, mib

@oigg Giburu uses Google for its search results, and requests to
cse.google.comare blocked by the DDG Tracker Radar list. Without access to this domain blocked, search results are naturally blank.Searches work fine in Vivaldi 5.6 with adblocking disabled.

Notice when turning off the DDG list, searches work again.If you use uBlock, you have to figure out how to fix this in uBlock. The DDG list is not AFAIK one of the defaults in uBlock, so you've probably added it yourself. Or maybe you use the DDG extension itself.
There's also been other topics about similar homemade 'popup' search engines claiming "privacy" while outright sending user requests to Google.

@Pathduck I'm only using uBlock Origin. I used the DuckDuckGo tracker radar list for a short while long ago when I was trying different lists through Vivaldi ad blocking but quit using it when I was unable to view videos on CNN and turned it off in favor of EasyPrivacy. I have since turned off Vivaldi add blocking entirely and resumed using only uBlock origin. however as I stated I also got a blank page when I disabled uBlock Origin and again when using a guest window so it isn't just a DuckDuckGo issue. It seems a bit random, right now my search at Gibiru works fine with uBlock active. You would think it was a Gibiru issue, however when I had a search fail both with uBlock origin active and then again in a guest window I tried the same search in Brave and it worked, however trying again in Vivaldi it did not. I'm using Vivaldi build 5.6.2867.40.
