Picture-in-picture always muted when switching tabs

When using pip (5.5.2805.48 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit)) it does work and play sound as long as i'm on the tab where the video was embedded. when i switch to another tab the video gets muted. trying to unmute it causes it being muted one second later.
Is this a known behaviour? should I provide more details?
Just switched to Vivaldi - thus I don't know if its a new behaviour. -

Hi, I test this and sound is still working on another tab, even on another browser. Maybe an extension cause this, check it in the guest profile.https://help.vivaldi.com/article/guest-view/

@mib2berlin thanks alot! it worked using guest profile so I ditched mine and started with a new profile - installed the very same extensions and it's working now as expected. couldn't figure out which setting/extension-configuration was causing the issue.
