Bookmarks Bar doesn't update without manually hiding/showing it

Dragging icons and renaming bookmarks that appear in the Bookmarks Bar are changes that don't take immediate effect. Formerly, this worked fine (and instantly) in Vivaldi, but the last couple of versions are confusing. Often when saving a site to bookmarks, I'm used to dragging the padlock downwards to where i'd like it positioned on my Bookmarks Bar, releasing it, and voila! I know right where it is. I can edit the name, remove text, and recognize it from the favicon that appears.
Now, often I'm confused if my bookmark is actually created, as it gets default populated at the end of the Bookmarks Bar listing. If I hide, then re-show the Bookmarks Bar, all is well.
Any quick way to circumvent this nuisance?

It will not be long before 5.6 Stable is released. Just wait a few days or a week.

When creating a new folder in the bookmarks pane, it seems to do nothing until i close it and open it again. Then the newly created folder appears as expected.
It happens also when renaming a bookmark folder. I try to rename it, but the old name remains. After closing and opening the bookmarks pane, it appears correctly.
It seems to be an issue with the pane not refreshing when expected.
Does it happen to anyone?

@TbGbe Thanks. I couldn't find the original post.
If it helps, I have removed (not just disabled) all the extensions and refreshed the profile and it seems to be working now.

Nope, I haven't installed any extension, but it has begun happening again after a day. I suppose we'll have to wait for the new release to get this sorted.

I also have this issue. I can't delete any bookmark or a folder, or add a new one. I will uninstall this useless trash, which is Vivaldi.

Hey guys. Seriously? That's how you want to compete with Chrome, by making a very basic feature super wonky?

Seriously I need two days and several hours to reproduce it on my system.
There is a bug report about, VB-93981, but it is only reproduced by me in the internal tracker.

Just to confirm: 5.6.2867.58 (Stable channel) (64-Bit), same problem.
Looks like to work after browser restart, stops to work after several? hours.
I was happy to see the problem was gone after updating, but no.
Vivaldi is usually running for days here.
I'd say that's unstable. -
Another user here with the same issue using latest stable build. Hopefully the devs will listen this time around.

@AnotherAtreyu They listened the first time around. If a bug is hard to reproduce, it may also be hard to fix.

I'm on 5.7.2921.63 and this is happening to me.
I thought it might be a cloud sync issue but even with that disabled it's still happening.
