Near impossible to manage bookmarks because window doesn't update to reflect changes
-
Regardless of profile, I've found that the bookmark manager is generally impossible to use, not so much because it's non-responsive, but in that once loaded, the list of bookmarks doesn't receive any updates regardless of action.
Ctrl + B opens the bookmarks manager without an issue. Clicking any of the folders or bookmarks in there promptly shows the description on the right side. But if I create a new folder or bookmark, reorder an existing folder/bookmark or try deleting an existing item, frankly, nothing appears to happen. The newly created element doesn't show up in the list, the order of the existing elements doesn't change and the bookmark itself doesn't get deleted. I can still click around without issue as the tab is still otherwise responsive and see the details on the right, but I can't otherwise see that I've manipulated anything.
But if I close the bookmark manager and re-open it, I'll see the changes I made. There's the new, empty bookmark I just made. There's the new order after dragging an element down the list. That second empty bookmark is no more.
As such, the only way to add bookmarks is to visit the page and use the bookmark icon in the nav bar to save to a specific folder and all other manipulations require opening and closing the manager several times.
I couldn't tell you in what version this started happening, but I'm currently running 5.5.2805.48 stable 64-bit.
Thanks!

@ww40 It is a known issue, and fairly recent.
Test the latest Snapshot (install as a Standalone version to avoid messing up your default installation).
