@mcmullengage Always paste the link to GH issue just in case someone has already ideas on how to fix/workaround the issue. Said that, being a browser problem, do a bug report.
-
@Hadden89 Bug report is VB-94133.
-
The feedbro problem no longer exists, the feedbro icon in the tab works again.
-
Reported a few weeks ago with VB-96947, but the BPC extension developed a problem starting with Vivaldi 5.8 (continuing in 6.0 and subsequent snapshots) where clicking the extension's Options or Custom menu items instantly crashes Vivaldi.
An unwieldy workaround is to use the URL form of those two areas, such as (you'll need to adjust for your particular extension ID):
chrome-extension://lkbebcjgcmobigpeffafkodonchffocl/options/options.html
chrome-extension://lkbebcjgcmobigpeffafkodonchffocl/options/options_custom.html

Facing the same issue with Vimium: clicking the Vimium icon and then "Options" crashes Vivaldi 6.0.2979.18.

My workaround has been to go to Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+E), click the extension's details then "Extension options", which works fine, if a bit of a hassle.

I figured the odds of that being restricted to one extension were extremely low, so glad you found another (and surely there are others).
To clarify though, it didn't used to happen before v5.8, right (assuming you actually used the extension back then)? If it did start then, it's definitely the same issue. If not, it's perhaps another.

Indeed, EFF Privacy Badger also has it, apparently: https://hachyderm.io/@quintessence/110341251261542977

I'm afraid I started using Vivaldi ~2 weeks ago and this issue was the first thing I noticed, so I can't say whether it's a v6 issue or not, but sounds plausible. I'm happy to reproduce it and report the bug if no one else has yet to do so (Vivaldi's bug tracker doesn't appear to be public?).

@olepbr
Hi, the tracker is not public but there are several reports about Vivaldi crash on edit options of an extension.
Iirc it is fixed already in an internal build.
I have to search a bit and will post here.Cheers, mib
EDIT: Privacy Badger options don´t crash my internal 6.1 build: -

The OneTab icon is now also displayed correctly again as a tab icon.

I assume you mean post 6.1.3023.3, right (it was probably still internal at the time of your post)?
-
@rseiler
Yes, I think so, I was at 6.1.3023.1 at this point.Cheers, mib
-
@mib2berlin Interesting, because all three of the ones mentioned above do crash .3, at least on Windows.
-
@rseiler
Hrm, I read the bug report again and it crash if you open the options from the popup menu not the context menu.
So this is not fixed at moment but the report VB-97546 is under review, I guess we get a fix very soon.Cheers, mib
-
MAL Sync is crashing again. Ticket number is VB-97719.
-
@mib2berlin Yes, the snapshot today (6.1.3035.3) covers the problem in the three extensions above, at least. I assume this one listed in the release notes pertains:
"[Crash][Extensions] My browser crashes when I try to open a tab with an extension (VB-97546)"
Though VB-96947 can be marked resolved, too, if it isn't already.
-
https://rust.extension.sh doesn't work - requires Omnibox API support, see https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/68329/omnibox-api-support/6.
-
The Superhuman mail extension https://mail.superhuman.com does not appear to run in Vivaldi.

@Hadden89
Please ignore this post. RESOLVED
You may have to add Decentraleyes to your list.
The test page sows it fails in my profile but works in a clean profile.
I will try removing from both profiles then adding back to my own profile to see if it works (as I did not remove it, it may be own problem).
If you have further suggestions on how to get it working they'd be greatly appreciated.
Edit:
Tried the above and it is now working.
Please ignore this post. -
OneTab Extension
It will collect all tabs from all Workspaces into the OneTab, but it will restore all tabs into a single window.
OneTab can not restore them to separate Workspaces.Source: @SimKennedy at https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/814863
