3rd and a quick fix in testing I see

      Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

@Ruarí Well, I do follow it but don't really do notifications...

Next time, update the XML (assuming this is where it gets it), say 1/2hr before posting here, see how many trigger an update 😉

@Pathduck It reads autoupdate meta data, so it I updated that early that would just mean I was putting the build out early.

@Aaron There is also a vote going on how I signify the newly updated build(s). So far I think people are less keen on my 'cute' idea.

@Ruarí Maybe add a 📜 and link to the rel.notes - but I'm not sure if that would work with the char limit and links posting in Mastodon generally.

      Another wrong deletion bug:

      1. Type into address bar address of website, which have tile at your speed dial.
      2. Select part of URL and press Shift+Del.
      3. Not only part of URL is deleted, but whole tile from speed dial. 🙄

@Ruarí For myself, I'm actually not used skillfully at using Mastodon

@Pathduck It wouldn't for the reason you identify but the account itself links to this blog FWIW, "Click account name -> click link to blog -> click most recent post" and you have the changelog.

I don't really want to reimplement everything we have here a second time and then some people comment on Mastodon and some here. That is just messy. So even if I could do it I would not. This is really just supposed to be a simple notifier. You get notified… you head to the blog if you want to know more 🤷.

@pathduck: I did just add this idea

      Untitled4.jpg

So next time the bot posts you can see the previous build number and the new one will be marked with 🆕.

But after this I don't see myself adding much more. If people want more they can make their own rival bot! 😆
