Google login does not work with third parties
-
Hi, I have a pretty annoying problem. Vivaldi has some security that makes it impossible to log into websites via google. Gmail, Youtube works for me, I mean websites where one of the options for creating an account is google. For example, it doesn't work for me on these sites:
https://speakly.me/sign_in
https://web.budgetbakers.com/login
It works on microsoft Edge, but on Vivaldi there is no answer. I tried to disable all add-ons and security settings. It still doesn't work. Anyone know how to fix this problem? -
@WiktorSurmiak Does it work in Guest Window?

It work in a clean profile but not in a guest profile.
I don´t use many extensions but change a lot of settings in my main profile.
No idea which have influence, the Google settings should be OK.Cheers, mib

The guest account doesn't work for me either, no reaction. To be sure, I added the vivaldi folder to the exceptions in the antivirus. I also don't have any vpn. -

I think I already know what's wrong. Regardless of the settings, when I click to log in with google, Vivaldi blocks some cookie. When I click that I want to give access to cookies, when I click on logging in via google, vivaldi blocks cookies again. I turned all settings on and off and still locks every time. Only that the login via google still does not work in the guest profile.
EDIT 1: I checked the login on HBO max which did not work before. Here, normally, I have already logged in, so there is some conflict only with logging in through the google account.
EDIT 2: I entered the second account on the windows where vivaldi is "clean". Logging in worked for me, I changed to the most rescriptive settings and I could also log in via google. When I entered via the guest account it stopped working for me. I will dig a little in the add-ons because it turns out that even the disabled add-ons create a conflict with logging in through the google account. -

Ah, then you may have disabled third party cookies as I have.
You can add an exception in chrome://settings/cookies
The default setting is enabled in incognito mode, a private window should work.Cheers, mib
