Force Tops Of Open Tabs To Top Of Windowdow

I feel sure there's some customization method to force the top of tabs to the top of window so there won't be a gap between the top of the tabs and the edge of the window. I really was hoping there might be a setting like that available in the settings area under the 'tab' heading. I performed a search about this issue and found one dated in the year 2015, I would have thought by now that a additional setting might have been added so a user could in fact get rid of the space I'm referring to.
