Command for expanding/shrinking tab bar

Now the vertical tab bar can be expanded or shrunk by middle click on the edge of tab bar. Want a command to do that so I can expand/shrink vertical tab bar using keyboard shortcuts or a command chain button. Because the edge of the tab bar may not be easily seen and middle-clicked when the webpage has a very similar color to the tab bar.

while we are at it, please also consider add mouseover/out of tabbar to expand/shrink automatically.
