Cannot log in to Twitter

I'm not sure if this is specific to Linux or not, but I cannot login to twitter.com with Vivaldi. I've disabled extensions, changed the privacy (blocking level) settings and tried in a private window, but I get stuck at a pop-up after entering my password - it's just white space so it 'looks' like something is being blocked.
Twitter seems to see the activity as I get email notifications about logins
Chromium-browser works fine.
Does anyone else have this issue? Any ideas what might be causing this?

FWIW no problems signing into Twitter on Linux.
You seem to have followed most of the steps here Troubleshooting issues | Vivaldi Browser Help but not trying in another profile. Is that something you tried?

Thanks for that - with a guest profile it worked, but still not with 'my' profile
I guess I need to reset my profile -

even with extensions disabled -

Hi, did it work before you sync?
Reset the profile and sync without extensions at first time or disable sync and delete 50% of the extensions, test, another 50% of the extensions and so forth.
Disable extensions is sometimes not enough.Cheers, mib

Thanks for the suggestions. I deleted my profile again and re-synced without extensions, but with settings... Didn't work. Reset again without settings - worked. Synced extensions - worked. So it was 'something' in my settings
I've been tweaking settings in Vivaldi for so long now that presumably something became corrupted...
Anyway - working now - thanks for the help and suggestions -
Same problem here. Does work in a Guest window, does not work with extensions disabled. Also on Linux, but other browsers work. Would like to resolve this but am not going to delete my profile.

@paul1149 Strange, I just got 11 email notices that I had signed in, yet the twitter page does not recognize me as signed in.
