Unsolved Address bar doesn't remember visited links
-
Hello everyone. I have been using Vivaldi recentely.
I like the browser. There is one thing i would like to know if it can be resolved.
On other web browsers when i visit a link often, it gets stored in the address bar. All i have to do is click the dropdown arrow (another great thing which most of the modern browsers do not have) next to the address bar and click the link i have visited before.
But it seems Vivaldi only stores addresses in the addres bar that i have typed.
I have looked into the settings of the address bar, but i can't seem to find how to change this. Thanks in advance.

@izri Hello and Welcome to the Vivaldi Community
Yes, the dropdown only shows typed history. You have to start typing for it to retrieve history entries.
I don't think there's a setting for this - the setting under "Address Field Drop-Down Menu" are only for once you start typing.
I don't know of any other modern browser that does this - or even allows the dropdown to show on down arrow press. Most rely solely on typing to retrieve history entries.
I suggest using the History Panel to access recent page visits.
https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/navigation/history-panel/If I had a wish it would be that we could access the back/forward context menu dropdown lists with a hotkey. It would be a much more elegant solution IMO, and allow for mouse-less navigation of the tab history.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I came from the browser Pale Moon. And it has the ability to remember often visited links. And when you click the drop-down arrow you can see your past visited links. Most, if not all, modern browsers don't even have the drop-down arrow anymore except Vivaldi. I just discovered Vivaldi and i find it one of the best, if not, the best browser.
I would be totally perfect, even perfection doesn't exist, if Vivaldi would add remembering often visited links.
