Hi. Recently i have been having issues trying to use the vivaldi calendar and email integrations with gmail. I managed to solve the gmail one by just deleting the account and re-adding it, but calendar is still stuck. I also tried disabling all extensions but the same thing happens.
I'm on Manjaro Linux x86_64, 5.10.126.
Vivaldi version 5.4.2753.40 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit)

@Nekros
Hi, I guess you meant a vivaldi.net calendar or Google calendar?
I add a vivaldi.net calendar without problems, during adding a Google calendar the Google sign up appears. log in with my Google credentials:Work all fine on a clean profile with 5.4.2753.40 on Opensuse Linux.
May you can check your Google account and delete the access for Vivaldi at the calendar and add it again?
Cheers, mib

I tried re-adding the Google Calendar account several times and this is what i always get, which doesn't really mean anything to me since i do have a google calendar. No login popup showed while adding the account. (It did with emails though)... I also tried deleting vivaldi access from my google account. Nothing works. -

@Nekros
I am sorry, no idea what happen on your Vivaldi/Google
combination.
You can create a test profile to exclude extensions and/or a corrupted profile but it need some work to transfer all from an old profile to a new one, if it work with a clean profile.Cheers, mib

With a new profile it seems to be working... I really wouldn't want to create a new one just for calendar. Especially if i don't know what caused the problem in the first place (what if it happens again? Am i going to have to create a new account every time it bugs out?) -
@Nekros
Maybe an extension cause this, disable all and restart Vivaldi would the first thing I try.
To repair a broken profile is near to impossible, you never know if it is really clean.
I had never issues with calendars in Vivaldi since the first beta but I kicked Google some months ago and use the Vivaldi calendar instead.Cheers, mib

I already tried disabling extensions. I'm just going to recreate my entire profile... Hopefully it won't happen again... Thanks

I'm having this same trouble. Google Accounts stopped work on two different profiles. Both say "decryption failed".
I deleted the accounts and when I add them back I don't even get prompted for OAuth Google Authentication.
It makes me think that there's an expired Google OAuth token stored and there's no mechanism to refresh it.

@majorhayes
Hi, I have add and remove Google accounts several times, Yesterday I add a Google calendar in a clean profile.
Does it happen after an update of Vivaldi?
After every update we get the reports in the forum but only from some user.
If all users have this issues the forum would be flooded with messages.
Mostly the reasons are:- An extension does not work correctly after an update
- A third party security software blocks Vivaldi as unknown software
- And the worst case, the profile gets corrupted after the update
You can test the profile and the extensions problem with a new profile.

I have 3 profiles. One of the three didn't have any Calendar/Mail accounts. I opened that profile and was able to add a Calendar account and got the OAuth prompt as expected.
I think the problem started within the last week or so and I do think it was after an upgrade.
The "Decryption failed" error I think it very important to diagnosing the issue.

I deleted my Gmail account and add it again without issues in my main profile:There are a lot of cookies from Google, may one have expired, try to delete them (You have to re login to all G. services).
You can disable all extensions with the command line switch:
--disable-extensions
