Unsolved Picture-in-picture window remains off-screen when disconnecting external monitor

When I'm connected to my external monitor (about 60% of the time) I keep my PIP window on the external monitor. When I disconnect the monitor, PIP continues to display off the edge of the screen until I connect the second monitor again and reposition it.
Is there any way to force reset the PIP window?
I'm not sure if this is Mac-specific but I'm on a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) running macOS 12.3.1.

@plainclothes This thread offers a solution for Windows. Hopefully, you can work out the appropriate shortcuts for Mac.

The Windows workflow offered there doesn't do anything, but I'm sure the recently posted Mac solution of hacking the prefs would do it.
I was hoping there was a way to do it within the Vivaldi UI directly without any hackery.
