Can't View Videos on a Certain Website

Recently I haven't been able to reproduce any videos on pornhub and I don't know why. I think this happened after an update but I'm not sure. I tried to delete all the cookies but that didn't help. I tried to watch it on another browser and it does work. I also tried to watch on my phone (using vivaldi as well) and it doesn't work either. What seems to be the issue? I thought about extensions too but I haven't installed anything since this problems began

Hi, do you use Windows K or KN?
If yes you have to update the Windows Media pack, Vivaldi use these codecs.
Does other videos play, Youtube for example?Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin No, I have windows media player and all the other apps (I'm on windows 10 by the way). I can see youtube without any problem

@PriestMarmore Check the adblocker (shield icon on addressfield) and try to disable. Probably a list is blocking the playback (usually the tracking lists)

@PriestMarmore I have the same problem, it shows me twitch videos in black. I tried with other browsers and I have no problem only with vivaldi. I tried disabling adblocker, clearing cache, etc, nothing solves it.
With youtube I have no problem.
I would like to install an older version but I don't know where to download an older version of vivaldi, from the website I can only download the latest version. -

@PriestMarmore I just tested a Pornhub video in my Vivaldi, it seemed to play fine.

Hi, I can play videos on Twitch and Pornhub, with latest Stable, Snapshot on Windows 11 and Linux.

I tried to install an older version and nothing. I also tried to watch without being logged in and also nothing. I can't seem to figure out the problem

(Btw, not all settings are sync-able so you may need to set-up few of them) -
@Hadden89 Something weird is happening. I now can watch my own videos (I'm a model and I have videos uploaded) but I still can't watch from others. I also tried to contact pornhub but they don't reply, ever (unless my email is the problem but I receive other emails)

@PriestMarmore I can't really know that. But if you suspect also a mail issue, just change your password (on PH and/or the webmail).
Try to unregister PH site from
chrome://serviceworker-internals/and see if it helps.

@deviousadism Install an older version of Vivaldi, just for one website? If PornHub works fine in another broswer (and you can't get it to work in Vivaldi), why not just watch it in another broswer?

But anyway I answer your question:
If a product doesn't work for me, I usually replace it with another one. Although I usually use several browsers for different things, for example: work, study, hobbies, etc, you will tell me but why? simple each one has a different use so different configurations and extensions, it is much more orderly for me, at the end of the day everyone can choose which browser to use and for what. -

That tone is uncalled for. I misread what video-website you had a problem with, no big deal.
Anyway, I would not recommend downgrading your Vivaldi! That would be a security risk, useing an outdated broswer is a good way to get a virus.
