Macos Command-M shortcut not working
-
When I try to minimize a Vivaldi window (with single tab or multiple) using the Macos shortcut key of Command-M nothing happens. In Chrome or Safari it works as expected and minimizes the active window. I don't see a keyboard shortcut conflict. Under "Window" it shows the minimize command but has only "M" listed as the shortcut and not "Command-M"
advTHANKSance,
Peter

@gungazoo Just to be sure, try to assign command m to minimise the active window (or any command), and see if you get a warning that it is already assigned.

Under: System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> App Shortcuts I added "Minimize -> Command-M" and do not get a conflict. Command-M still works for Safari but doesn't work in Vivaldi. I also logged in as a different user on this same Mac who hadn't used Vivaldi and didn't have any real programs running which might interfere and still Command-M didn't work. However, with Vivaldi active, if I open "Window" it shows "Minimize" but now lists the shortcut as Command-M.
Thanks for the help.

@gungazoo FYI, there is an open bug for this issue, VB-89950. I have pinged some of the devs and asked if they could look into this.

Thanks so much. I looked for one before posting but obviously didn't do a good job.
