'Copy link to highlight' custom access key
-
As of the recent 5.4 update, we now have the ability to copy a link to a highlight on a page. It's really useful, and something I have looked forward to for a while.
In Settings -> Appearance -> Menu customization -> Selection, it's enabled by default (which is a good thing). However, I haven't found a way to add a custom access key/shortcut to this functionality. Normally I would add an ampersand ('&') before the letter I want to use as access key, but that doesn't work with this one. Adding an ampersand before any letter doesn't underline it in the actual context menu, and pressing that key also doesn't copy the link to the selected text.
I hope this will be added to Vivaldi soon, as it's a small thing but could really speed up my (and I'm sure many other's) workflow.

@MoosMas This looks like a bug to me, rather than a feature request.

@MoosMas I reported a related issue:
(VB-91069) Link to Highlight added in Menu Customisation is Shown as Subfolder
When customising the menu, the existing item can be renamed, and still works, but as you say, it has no access key and none can be added with &.

@Pesala Yup, noticed that as well. Thanks for reporting the bug though! Didn't know if I should post this in feature requests or bugs, but I figured there was a 50% chance I would post it in the right one so I just went with this one.
It's a weird bug. Renaming the existing item has no effect on how it is displayed.

related this, I would like to assign a shortcut key to "copy link to highlight", I can't find this command in settings > keyboard.
any advice?

@xqftakrz As noted above, it should have an Access Key on the menu, but that is different to a Shortcut key.
-
@Pesala thanks for replying,
I got you mean of the access key and the shortcut.
I would like to have them both, I meant.
