Widget mini browser

A browser that lived in a widget for social media would be epic.
One app came close but they stopped development the only thing that was missing was the ability to input text and more stability.

I wish vivaldi made a widget like this - for social media and other web apps it would be cool to have this mini bowsercas a widget.
Here's how I use it on my samsung tab s8 in conjuction with an app called panels that replaces my native samsung edge panel. This panels app allows for me to add widgets as an edge panel instead. Sobwhen I found a mini browser widget ...it was almost perfect for quick social media reference.

Hello, @philliplanos
Thank you for sharing your suggestion. The truth is that it is very good, but if a developer found it difficult to make it for free, it is because it requires a series of resources and time that perhaps we can't give him at the moment.
However, it is something that catches my attention and I would not like it to be forgotten. You can interact with more members in the different channels (Forum, Telegram, Discord...) and thus get more support to reach the devs.
On Desktop we have PWA, which is the feature you are looking for on Android.

@RealMat0s I totally understand that it could be a complex build.
One thing is for sure - due to Android lacking that slide over feature that iOS have a lot of iOS users don't even look at something like DeX mode with interest because floating windows so what...
What tablets need are true desktop browsing and better i/o support for peripherals like drives and microphones.
Which means a solid file manager (with drag and drop that doesn't exist on android), Vivaldi takes care of the solid desktop browsing experience albeit Google Web Apps give it some trouble some times (like google docs in desktop mode won't allow you to use a mouse to resize fonts and google sheets wont allow you to resize columns)
Otherwise, the idea of slide over apps or the side panel is such a powerful tool that a tablet simply cant afford to go without.
The Tab S8 offers popup apps in tabelt mode that mirror the idea but the window manager for popup apps is a floating logo of the most recent app which isn't as useful as a quick reference to the side.
I know vivaldi can't force popup apps to live in a side panel in the browser...that's probably something Samsung has to allow.
However these are all the key elements that keep the Tab S8 and Android in general from being a true iOS competitor aside from a pro audio, video, design and phot editing software.
All this to say what you've done with Vivaldi alone does a lot for Android and browsing on a tablet to get closer to that Tablet only lifestyle so many are chasing.
Thank you for that.

And we're not done yet.
We know there is a long way to go, but we have the desire to work to innovate more and more, not only on the desktop version, but also on Android and even on Chromebooks / Android Automotive.
I will take into account everything you just said, thanks for sharing.

@RealMat0s I love it!
Basically if you made this current set up I have on my mac OS Vivaldi browser possible on Android, with the webpanel but include a way to do file browser and management you win.
I can then live in Vivaldi for the most part, with the exception of using zoom for web conferencing...unfortunately as a podcaster I have to use that tool and they don't record locally its all to the cloud the basterds lol
