My team of crack energised solicitors is now contacting V's gaggle of lazy work-experience legal-studies peeps, with a claim of International Crimes Against Dictionaries, Definitions & Lineal Measurements. I expect they're terrified.

@guigirl Unfortunately, that labeling presumes horizontal tabs.

@Ayespy My crack team is already committed. They're ravening & hungry, raring to go, & not dissuaded by this official Demokratik Republik Of Vivaldi official spokesperson smokescreen.

Anyone noticed that a newly opened window (after the first one) works properly, but looks as if it doesn't have focus? I have to click (or Alt+Tab) away from it and focus it again for it to gain its focused look.

@killchain Works for me. I've tried opening new windows repeatedly, all of them have address bar focused correctly for me, as I start typing in them, all my keys get into the address field.

@ian-coog: For me it works correctly too, it's just a visual problem - i.e. the new window has focus, but looks as if it doesn't. Might be more obvious with certain themes.

[BUG?] must reload a page, to make new downloads from Google drive

                      Try this:

                      • login to drive.google.com
                      • open a folder that someone shared with you
                      • walk across the directory tree and right click on a file you want to download (that file will be downloaded)
                      • stay in the same folder and right click on another file, to download it (that file will PROBABLY not be downloaded)

If you managed to download the second file, just go on downloading other files, you'll see that after a while, Vivaldi will not download files anymore unless you refresh the page (F5).

                      Anyone confirms?

                      Vivaldi on W1164bit, here.

                        New window isn't maximized.

Same here. No matter whether an existing window is maximised, a new one isn't. In my case a new window seems to always take almost the whole screen, but being non-maximised, it would miss clicks on the top edge of the screen (that normally fall on tabs with a maximised window with the "Remove Tab Spacing in Maximised Windows" setting enabled).

And probably at the same time the new private window is properly maximized?

And btw, I found probably new regressions, confirmation needed.

                            1. Search field not activated (VB-74390 regression)
                              - open the start page (with speed dial) with search field in the address bar
                              - open another window or settings (not as a tab) and have it active
                              - single click the search field of the first window directly
                            2. ESC not disabling search bar when it's not focused (VB-14869 regression)
                              - ctrl+f to open the search bar
                              - click on the opened page area
                              - press ESC
