Export Emails?
-
Hi,
is there a way to export mails (even whole mail accounts) in M3 like there was in Opera Mail (e.g. exporting the inbox folder as .mbs)? I would like to make a backup of all my mail accounts, and the only reason Opera Mail is still on my system is for that funcionality.

Nope. But Vivaldi stores all emails as .eml files in the <user profile>\mail<account folder>\year\month\date\ so they are at least generally available.
I also keep M2 around for the same purpose. Simple backup. -
@WildEnte Ah okay, thanks for the info. Then I hope that feature will be added at some point.
And regarding the .eml files: I noticed that I can at least open those files and read the text, but it would be nice to also see the email header and have access to attachments (I think they're also stored in the eml files, judging by the file size of messages that have large attachments).
And if such an account folder could be added as an offline account, that could then serve the same purpose as the export feature of Opera Mail.
