Unable to add pacbell.net account

I'm not able to add my pacbell.net account. So can't test out the mail feature.
It does not automatically find the connection settings. My attempt to manually add the account results in an error message saying vivaldi was unable to connect. I'm using the following settings. (I am able to use the credentials to log into mail at yahoo.com directly.Email Settings for Pacbell.net

maybe something in this AT&T forum post helps. Seems that there are some specifics with pacbell.net

@WildEnte There's always the device-specific password approach. Yahoo has some security token similar to what Gmail does, but if your system doesn't support that you can request a secure password (as in long and random) to use wiith one app/program. Theoretically Vivaldi works with Yahoo, but it doesn't seem to recognize that att.net email addresses are actually handled by Yahoo.

Hmm, they changed it. When I was setting up M2 I had to go to https://m.att.com/my/#/manageAppSpecificPwd (which is theoretically a mobile page though I was using my laptop), but as you'll see they redirect to a desktop page now and "Manage app-specific password" isn't there. on the desktop version.
