Keyboard shortcut CMD-V is not working
-
Was there a resolution to this problem? I'm experiencing this same problem on MacOS 12.4. When I press CMD+V in Vivaldi, nothing happens; it works totally fine in other apps in my mac. When I go to the menu and click [ Edit > Paste and Match Style (CMD + V) ], the paste works normally.
Is anyone experiencing this problem?
More context: I've changed my mac default keyboard behavior to paste and match style with CMD + V, which is normally just Paste.
Thanks in advance for any guidance!

I am also using MacOS 12.4 and Cmd-v works for me with Vivaldi (and any other app).

@Streptococcus thanks for confirming.
I removed my custom keyboard mapping that I had on my mac and it's working fine, as you mentioned. Something related to the Paste and Match Style doesn't seem compatible with Vivaldi but it's not the end of the world.

@mohossain, if I understand correctly, the issue is that Vivaldi inserts most of its menu items dynamically after the app has already launched, and this causes those menu items to not work with certain native macOS features, including assigning shortcuts to them in System Preferences, triggering them via searches in Vivaldi's Help menu, etc. It also causes issues with automation software and assistive devices.
My understanding is that there are plans to make the menu items behave more natively, but I don't know what the timeframe for that would be.
