Bookmarks on Android
-
I realise I may use bookmarks unusally, but I have them arranged in folders, sometimes 6 or 7 deep.
When I go down through the folders to find a bookmark, and click the link, it works fine. However, to go back to bookmarks, it takes me back to the top, and i have to click through all the folders again. If I want to sort the bookmarks, this makes it harder, as the olders are also sorted, and now no longer appear at the top.
Is there a way to (a) sort bookmarks, but keep folders on top?
(b) remember which folder I was last in when I go to folders, or a way to open bookmarks in a background tab, like we can on the desktop. That way I could at least open all 5 links and then find the right one and just close the tabs I no longer need. -
Seconded

I use bookmarks similarly to you : lots of them, and organized in nested folders. This works just fine on desktop, but is very frustrating to navigate on mobile, since Vivaldi won't remember my last place in the bookmarks.
Right now, I have to use Brave to navigate my bookmarks easily on mobile (the bookmark button is easily accessible in the url bar + it remembers my place) because Vivaldi and Firefox keep sending me back to the top instead of staying where I last was. It's the only browser I found with nice bookmark UX so far.
Seriously hoping this gets considered!
