Vivaldi Webmail now with a dark theme
-
Today we've updated Vivaldiโs email service.
In addition to updating the IMAP servers, we've also updated the interface of Vivaldi Webmail (Roundcube).
Noteworthy changes in Webmail:
- Ability to move recipients between input fields (To, CC, BCC, etc.) using drag and drop
- Dark Theme!
Just click on the moon in the bottom left corner to turn off the lights. You can find the button for switching between the light and dark mode on the left sidebar, at the bottom (available with the default interface skin "Elastic"):
-
@pafflick Dark mode is highly appreciated elastic theme lovers .
-
Forum dark mode next?
-
Awesome! Been looking forward to a dark theme for V webmail!
Maybe worth to note that the dark theme only applies when using the default Elastic theme, not the Larry theme. I've been using Larry because I found the default Elastic theme way too bright, no longer an issue
-
@Pathduck Good point, I added that detail in the first post.
-
changing theme to 'larry' on mobile reloads the page with desktop UI. Is it a bug?
P.S. Larry theme never supported it as confirmed by @pafflick below
-
@juanvase What do you mean by "desktop UI"? Larry theme does not support dark theme.
-
@Pathduck Just change theme. after update bug or larry theme never supported mobile UI.

@juanvase said in Vivaldi Webmail now with a dark theme:

No idea, I never used webmail from a mobile. But probably Larry theme never supported it, it's a very old Roundcube theme.
-
@juanvase No, the "Larry" skin is an old one - it never supported the mobile view.
