status code 415

trying to use ecosia with vivaldi i get this: {"statusCode":415,"code":"FST_ERR_CTP_INVALID_MEDIA_TYPE","error":"Unsupported Media Type","message":"Unsupported Media Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded"} I have no idea what this means.
What is funny is firefox, which is my backup browser, uses ecosia just fine, but not vivaldi! I would prefer to stay with vivaldi, but it is onerous switching back to firefox to search....to get on my level please use a crayola. Fingerpaint is ok too!!!! Thank you....b³

Sorry!!! but i need a bigger crayola to understand this. i used the vivaldi settings and etc. for ecosia...I really am lost on this....sorry but i am technologically challenged. -
@smeeding2535 For me that happen if i had ticked "Use POST method" in Vivaldi Settings for Ecosia search.
Seems Ecosia does not support such method. -
@smeeding2535 Open the Settings dialog, and select the Search category.

@pesala Thanks for your effort.
i am going to the vivaldi box in the top bar, far left corner of monitor, picking settings and then search. ecosia is private and default and spelled out.
at your suggestion in the url area down below a bit i pasted this https://www.ecosia.org/search?method=index&q=%s and still get status code 415....please do not give up on me.... -

@smeeding2535 Try in a guest profile or a private window.
Extensions often cause problems.

@pesala Thank you, but how do i find a guest profile or a private window? and once i do, what do i do with them? i am really on the crayola level or below.....

@pesala ok i found it, but it just looks like i am going down a deeper rabbit hole. it wants me to download vivaldi again etc... should i?

Fetch Installer from https://vivaldi.com/download/
Uninstall previous Vivaldi
Start Installer and install again. -

@smeeding2535 also i did unstall and did reinstall and it came back looking the same. On programs and features it did disappear. and now shows a 5.5 cinco de mayo install date.

@smeeding2535 ok i see what i think is the problem, but how do i solve it? www.ecosia.org gives me the error 415 everytime. if follow pesca's advice and use this

https://www.ecosia.org THIS TO THE MAIN SEARCH AREA SO IT DOMINATES AND DOES NOT THROW OUT THE ERROR? -
@Smeeding2535 What happens if you use a new test profile? Do not make any settings and do not add extensions. Does the Ecoisia fail again?
