Cycle Tabs (CTRL-Tab) Not Working on Certain Sites
-
Is it just me or is there something up with tab cycling using CTRL-TAB. It seems to work for the most part, but there are certain sites where it does not. Here's one that doesn't seem to accept the CTRL-TAB prompt to move to the next or the prior tab:
I've tried this on two computers and it seems to be happening on both.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

@wholeenchilada Hi, I can confirm it happens on that site. Problem is some sites override the browsers keys, and they don't test it enough with all browsers.
My guess is the Unity player plug-in steals focus from the Vivaldi hotkeys.
A workaround for this site is to use the Focus Address Field hotkey (F8/Ctrl+L) and then the tab cycler works. I also recommend setting Alt+D to the same hotkey to match other browsers (F8 is silly IMO).
Another thing that's always a good idea is to have alternative ways to active tabs. For instance I use 1/2 for previous/next tab. I think also by default Ctrl+PageUp/PageDn works. You could also map say Shift+Home/End for showing the tab cycler as an alternative for these kinds of stupid sites.
You could always report it as a bug of course, since other browsers seem to handle it. Please read:
carefully and report the bug to the Vivaldi bugtracker

@pathduck That's brilliant - thank you! I didn't know about the focus address field. That works fine.
