"Site Can't Be Reached" errors

Browser has become pretty much unusable. 404 page load errors and "this site can't be reached". It's just not worth the time trying to make this flawed product function as it should.

@wholeenchilada You may have trouble with your VPN/Proxy/Privacy extensions?
Cookie blocking? Useragent faking? Use of Vivaldi Ad blocker?
Which pages can not be reached?
Which Vivaldi version?
Did you checked Troubleshooting issues ? -

@wholeenchilada you just repeated the same thing in another thread 20 minutes later. So you seem to have time complaining about the flawed product
Seriously, I looked through your post history. Some issues you raised seem to have been solved (Snap regions in Windows, Dell Display manager using the same keyboard shortcut as Vivaldi for the download panel). The print crash bug you have mentioned should now be fixed with an update, which leaves the issue that you can't log in to your IRS account which could not be reproduced yet without further description what fails where, and the link you provided is not working.
Certainly the last 2 weeks after the 5.2 release have not been the best time for a new user - there were about 6 or so updates with crash fixes in short order, which is highly unusual.
If you find the time to speak about your (understandable) frustrations, I - a random but dedicated user myself - would like to see this positive and say that you still seem to care somehow. If you could let folks here know where you find those 404 page load errors etc. we might be able to help sort things out. Since these errors are not normal, after all Vivaldi is using the same engine as many other browsers with a modified user interface and some unique features. Even if you don't continue to use Vivaldi in the end, whatever we help you find might also be helpful for your experiences with other browsers.

- takes about 30 seconds to get the "page won't load" message.
- page opena fine (and quickly) in firefox and brave.

My hunch is that Vivaldi somehow doesn't carry over my login credentials (this is a work site that is password protected).

Yes, VPN is needed. Not sure why Vivaldi doesn't connect. Will revisit later. Take care and thanks, all!
