One Vivaldi version on PC for all users?
-
Using Vivaldi and updating to latest version. However, I notice when I switch users, I keep getting notices of a new version of Vivaldi available and new user should update. So my question is "Why doesn't the version I already use as Administrator work for anyone else using my PC?"
Shouldn't one version be available for all users but still keep track of individual settings and such?
Thanks!

Hi, it depends on how you installed Vivaldi.
If you choose Advanced > All User it installs in C:\Programms and create a data folder in \Username\App Data.
All user data are independent except you use the sync feature with one account.https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/install-update/install-the-vivaldi-browser/

I wish people would mention their OS in these kinds of threads. The OP's alleged problem is n/a in Linux, but nothing about OP directly informs an interested reader what OS they're using. Only from @mib2berlin's post was i then able to infer OP might use windoze.
