Solved Unable to add a new google calendar

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has encountered the same problem as I do?
I could not add Google calc into vivaldi calendar recently.
It always responded "Could not connect. Make sure to enter a valid email address." However, I am pretty sure that the firewall and antivirus software didn't block vivaldi, and I tried to add the account in different places (with different computers and internet settings), but the results are the same.
How can I solve the problem?

@orlawave You could try to sign in with the CalDAV option. Find out the address you need (e.g. https://apidata.googleusercontent.com/caldav/v2/yourID/events) and create an app password for Vivaldi ☛ https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en. I haven’t tried it since I use Vivaldi’s own calendar server, but it should theoretically work.

I can only recommend again and again not to use the Google, Microsoft, Apple and Google-Android calendars.

Please don't share your appointments with these companies.
This is also in the interest of other people involved.

Better use a good, syncronisable, open source calendar, or the one from Vivaldi.

@orlawave Hi! Having the same issue on Mac. 2 step verification enabled. I tried using "app password" feature, but had the same result. The calendar is working fine on Windows.
CalDav option didn't work for me.

Hi, I use OneCalendar on Android with the CalDAV system, super easy.
I kicked Google calendar some time a go and use only Vivaldi now.
