When I enter Slack url, redirects to app which is not installed

For years, I have entered a url to open my company Slack in the browser.
A few days ago, instead of opening Slack in the browser tab, tries to redirect to the app, which is not installed. Both buttons result in the same launch dialog.
I also tried the "Slack in browser" link, it also tries to redirect to the app.
How can I use Slack in a Vivaldi tab again?
Ubuntu 18.04, Vivaldi 3.6.2165.34 (Stable channel) (64-bit)

Try updating your ancient version first?

Oh, thanks. When I looked up Vivaldi upgrades it said it auto-updated.
