[Themes] Improve contrast and appearance of check boxes and radio buttons (VB-86799)
Not so convinced the new look is such an improvement. But I understand that for some themes it might've been an issue...
Not a fan of it either, the previous one looked much better

What is the purpose of showing privacy statistics on the Start Page? I turned it off already, but who needs this clutter on the Start Page?
Seems kind of slapped on, I turned it off right away as well so I'm glad we have that option. Might be better as a side panel
-
Can you please address the
Copy to Note
not being confirmed? It's been a regression since the stable release and I find I'm constantly having to double check notes are being saved -
@sjudenim Actually I kinda like it this way more (having the panel opening each time is distracting), though I can understand a notification would be helpful.

It's the notification I'm referring to. I have
Open panel automatically
deselected and don't want to have to open it each time -

Previews on tab stacks are no longer working when there's one or more pinned tabs
No, it's worse than that. I have no pinned tabs inside three current multi-tab stacks, & for each stack, only a single tab's preview appears on hover ... a clear breakage since last Snappie. Dagnabbit...
-
With this build clicking a feed entry in the feeds panel travels me to the mail panel.
-
@npro I assume you do not only mean this?
-
@guigirl No, this is quite old
-
The status bar biscuit atm reads
Vivaldi 5.2.2603.6 / Chrome 98.0.4758.121
. I thought i read recently, in some other thread, that the "next" Snappie [aka today's one], given its long delay, was jumping to c100. It seems that collectively we're pretty lousy tarot card readers.
EDIT:
Nah, tis ok after all... 100 just arrived.
-
@npro Exactly, but i've not otherwise been able to replicate your symptom. Otoh, i only use Feeds, not also Calendar & Email, so maybe that's why.
-
i also don't like the new look for the checkboxes and radio buttons. they are not as easy to distinguish by their outline shape. you can see what i mean by deliberately blurring your vision by squinting your eyes. please change it back or give us an option for it.
-
Gonna have to agree with everyone who has said so far they aren't keen on the new look for checkboxes / radio buttons in themes...

Clean profile:
-
@npro I was not doubting you, instead merely noting i had been unable to replicate it... but my setup is different to yours.
-
-
@guigirl The above gif contains all the necessary steps to reproduce it, it's not relevant to any setup
-
@npro Yes but i no longer need to replicate it. The fact that you replicated it yourself, in a clean profile, is logically sufficient to prove your initial symptom noticed in, i presume, your Default profile. Any further effort now by me is utterly redundant, so i have returned to ogling pushmepullu videos.

Thumbnails are broken except for the leftmost (or top).
-
I can't move individual tabs into preexisting stacks. Not via the tab bar, not via the Panel.
-
@paul1149 This is not a new bug [existed for at least a few Snappies], but now it's even worse. Until today's Snappie, the workaround of doing the move within the Window panel worked... now it also fails.
