We need commands to Remove bookmark from bookmarked active tab
-
Please add Remove Bookmark from active tab commands to allow us removing bookmark from bookmarked active tab quickly.
Currently we can only remove bookmark from active tab via the bookmark popup dialog, which is a very slow process. There is no other quicker method to do so with keyboard shortcut, MG, quick command, command chains, or context menu command.
User case:
I have been using bookmark system like a reading list since long time ago, & it's a real pain to remember to remove bookmark from active tab, before closing active tab. IMHO it would be much quicker to create a CC to remove bookmark & close tab at once with a shortcut. But currently it's not possible because there are no command to remove bookmark from active tab. -

Really!? Ctrl+D, Remove.

@pesala You meant
Ctrl+D,wait for dialog to appear,
then move cursor to REMOVE button,
& click,
& wait for the dialog to disappear...
This entire process will took about 2 seconds to complete. If we repeat this process 50 times per day... it will take about 100 seconds & many unnecessary keystrokes & clicks!
What I suggest here is the possibility to simply hit Ctrl+(something) to remove bookmark from active tab immediately, & allow user to move on to the next task quickly. If we add close tab action into the process, it will take at less 3 seconds, but if we can create a CC, it will take less than a second, max.I have to add & remove bookmarks a lot in daily basis, so I know how unpractical & troublesome it is to continue using Vivaldi without the Remove active tab bookmark command. So if you don't remove bookmark very often, & don't understand those who have to deal with this problem in daily basis, then please don't be a D to other forum user with genuine need. If you are try to be helpful here, then I'm sorry, I don't feel you are being helpful.

@dude99 I always try to be helpful. I don't understand why anyone would add bookmarks only to remove them soon afterwards, especially now that we have the reading list. I was thinking more of bookmarks added in error by using Ctrl+D on the active tab.
It takes less than a second here to remove the active tab's bookmark, but I use both keyboard and mouse. With keyboard only it is Ctrl+D, Shift+Tab, Enter.
I don't have to wait for the dialog to open. If yours opens slowly, maybe that needs a bug report?

AFAIK currently reading list is not as good as bookmark (it feel like another half baked feature), & it's too late for me, cuz I already being using bookmark as reading list for many years. And sometimes it's easier to just move temporary bookmark into permanent folder if I decided to keep it.

Maybe because you have a super quantum computer & super speedy reflexes? LOL Let's be realistic here, If you actually record the entire process in real time begin from when you hitting Ctrl+D until the dialog disappear, it can't be done in less than a second, ok? You might have feel like it's less than 1s, but it took longer than that.

It's not a bug, it's a limitation of hardware & software. It's normal for Vivaldi GUI to react slightly slower for some heavy user but quicker for lite user.
