Solved Some pages wont load
-
As of lately Im having issues with quite a few webpages not loading/not showing.
I have tried doing i reset of Vivaldi (renaming my /home/ssamik/.config/vivaldi/Default and trying with a fresh profile) without much success, although it did work for some pages.
nrk.no show a empty page:
Same does twitter:
Other pages that did not work with my original profile are, among others, drive.google.com and play.google.com.
With a fresh profile the last two does however load and display as expected.
All pages loaded just fine until they suddenly did not..Having been a Vivaldi user since first public available build I really wish to stay with this browser, but I must admit things like this makes me considering switching to something else.
All of the mentioned pages works just fine in Chrome, Firefox and Edge.Vivaldi 3.1.1929.45 (Stable channel) (64-bit)

User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/83.0.4103.119 Safari/537.36
Command Line /usr/bin/vivaldi-stable --flag-switches-begin --flag-switches-end --disable-webrtc-apm-in-audio-service --save-page-as-mhtml
Executable Path /opt/vivaldi/vivaldi
Profile Path /home/ssamik/.config/vivaldi/DefaultAny ideas on what might be going on? I was sure it was a extention or something that caused me problems, but it obvious is something else...

@ssamik You use a outdated version of Vivaldi. You should update to 5.1.2567.49 Stable.
-
No updates available through the repo as far as I can see...
-
Ooops.. my bad! Seems the Vivaldi repo got deleted by a system update a while back.
Edit:
Yeah, that seems to have done away with those page not loading problems.
Quite embarrassing actually. I have just assumed Vivaldi got updated through the Update Manager. -
@ssamik Yes, such can happen.

@DoctorG
Thank you so much! The easy solution sometimes is the hardest to spot, apparently.
I'll go stand in the corner now. -

No, you do not need to.
Forgetting a repo setting is a little fault.

And does all work fine now after your update to Vivaldi 5.1?

It would seem so... Even some small issues I had with a Tampermonkey script seems resolved.
All is good, but I'm still a bit ashamed not catching this by myself.
Thank you again! -
