Vivaldi Invidious Instance
-
We're no strangers to the fact that Youtube tracks its users.
While using Youtube on Vivaldi is safer, Vivaldi cannot block back-end trackers (Google can collect your IP).
To solve this, Vivaldi could host an Invidious instance. Invidious is an open source private Youtube front-end which contains zero trackers and blocks all Youtube front-end and back-end trackers. You can even subscribe to channels in Invidious independent of a Google account, and of course, RSS feeds are supported.
This could help make Youtube more private for Vivaldi users.

Not a bad idea, though Google might get twitchy about such a prominent group hosting an Invidious instance. As an alternative, maybe a PeerTube instance. We won't solve the reliance on Google by using alternate front-ends to view Google content. The real method is to build our own ecosystems apart from them.
