Paste as Plain text shortcut Ctrl+V
-
Hello,
I would like to change default behavior of shortcut Ctrl+V (Paste) to Past as plain text in Vivaldi. The simple Paste shortcut is not in the list of Keyboard settings. I could setup shortcup for Paste as plain text but I want to replace it.
How do I change it? I would like to change this option only for Vivaldi, not defaulty for whole Windows.
Reason: sometime I am copying formated text and pasing to Gmail (which is supporting formating). I know, its not annyoing but while typing with 10 fingers and have to move hand to mouse.. well its not so convinient

@melvidor The Ctrl+V shortcut is reserved as a standard Window shortcut for editing in text boxes, etc.
If you enable single-key shortcuts, you could assign the shortcut v to Paste as Plain Text.

@melvidor The default shortcut for pasting text without formatting (which works in other Chromium browsers - not just Vivaldi) is:
[CTRL]
+[SHIFT]
+[V]
Alternatively, you can use an extension (like Auto Copy), which strips all formatting from the copied text automatically.
