Import personal digital certificate?
-
Why Vivaldi has to make it so difficult to import personal digital certificates is beyond me. chrome://settings/certificates took me there in 4x. Now in 5x that doesn't work. I have searched settings but I can't find the latest hidey hole. Could someone guide me please?
Vivaldi 5.1 Windows 11. -
@rafiki Open Windows user's Certificate Manager and import client certificates.
Or do you mean self-signed SSL root CA an other certificates for devices/servers?

@doctorg Now that's interesting. I have learnt something today. Thank you. I have always imported my personal digital cert via the browser of the day whether it was Chrome, edge, FF or Opera. There has always been a place in settings to do the import. I can't say I understand these certs but when you mentioned the Windows Cert Manager I took a look and, lo and behold, I can import it there. Once in there it pops up as required in the browser. Thanks for the tip. Still odd that V is the only browser I have used not to have an import facility. What I don't understand is I can definitely recall having my cert imported in FF which would not show up when required in V.

@rafiki In earlier days of Chromium core you were able to import by internal page. But that has really changed.
You can open chrome://settings/security/ and in section Manage Certificates hit there the entry. -
