Vivaldi no longer has occlusion settings
-
Version: 5.1.2567.39
OS: Windows 11 Version 21H2Since updating, Vivaldi's window occlusion calculation settings in flags are gone, which were used to keep Youtube from going black when closing applications like Discord. Clicking on the youtube window/tab restores it to playback. This also affects sites like Tweetdeck where, when occluded, the site will not update until it is brought back into direct focus.
Why was this removed? Is it removed from the main Chromium branch or is this Vivaldi specific?

@cryofauna
Hi, this is a new Chromium feature!
You can enable Chrome 96 flags > chrome://flags/#temporary-unexpire-flags-m96
to get the occlusion flag back.
Or add --disable-backgrounding-occluded-windows
to your desktop shortcut.
No idea how long this work, sooner or later they remove those flags.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin Well, it's good to hear there's still a way to enable it, and it appears to be working as expected. I hope there's some way to preserve this option for the future, however
