Vivaldi use more cpu than braver or firefox when play video
vivaldi has many function that i like, but I found a problem.
When i play some online video, i found Vivaldi use more CPU than Braver or firefox, i use a old laptop, you can see when i play the same video on the same website, Vivaldi use more CPU than Braver (it is also base on Chromium). On the other laptop, in the same conditoin, Vivaldi use about 10% of CPU and Braver use 5% CPU. Firefox performace alomost the same as Braver.
anyone have the same issue?

In addition to that if we are using additional monitor and screen sharing, it almost dies.

Hi, there are some reasons possible result in more CPU usage of Vivaldi.- Check wich Chromium version Brave and Vivaldi are on
Later Chromium versions are may not support your GPU anymore and all work has done on the CPU. - Is hardware acceleration even enabled?
Search for it in the settings.
If your GPU is not supported you can try to enable older GPU with open:
chrome://flags and search for Override software rendering list, enable it and restart Vivaldi.

thanks for your replay, i have use your method, i'm sorry it does not work, i don't know if my another laptop's GPU is supported. it have the same issue(paly the same video without any extensions). both browser turn off hardware acceleration.it not happen in every video, just occasional video. in some website both browser perform the same.
for example , i play video on youtube, vivaldi and braver have the same CPU usage on my another laptop.
maybe there is some video decoding compatibility? i don't konw,,, whatever it's not a big deal. Still thanks.
